Role Overview:
As the Art Director, you will lead the creative team (designers, motion, visual content) to deliver cohesive, market-leading visual assets across all digital and brand channels. You’ll own the artistic vision and creative standards and collaborate with marketing, product, and regional teams to bring campaigns to life.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and articulate the visual identity and creative direction aligned with global brand guidelines but localized for regional audiences
Lead, mentor, and manage a creative team (graphic designers, motion designers, visual content creators)
Oversee creation of all digital campaign assets: display ads, social media visuals, video creatives, landing pages, banners, email designs, etc.
Collaborate with marketing, performance, content, and product teams to conceptualize campaign strategies and ensure visual consistency
Review, provide feedback, and maintain quality control over all creative deliverables
Drive experimentation in visual formats (motion, video, interactive) to push engagement and conversions
Stay current with design trends, motion graphics, emerging tech (AR/VR, interactive content), and regional aesthetics
Work within timelines and budgets, managing resources and priorities across multiple concurrent campaigns
Job requirements
Required skills and qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 5+ years in art direction, creative leadership, or senior design roles (ideally in digital marketing, agencies, or fintech/finance)
Portfolio: Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of digital marketing, branding, and visual identity work — across static and motion formats
Design & Tools: Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere, etc.) and familiarity with motion, video, and interactive design
Strategic Thinking: Able to translate marketing goals into visual narratives, and connect creative ideas to performance metrics
Leadership: Experience leading creative teams, giving feedback, mentoring, delegating, and ensuring consistent quality
Communication: Excellent verbal and written English skills (Arabic fluency is a plus, but not mandatory)
Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment, with flexibility to adjust priorities
Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and experience working cross-functionally with marketing, product, and operations
