Position Summary: 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Dealer to join our Cyprus team. *This is a remote position but the candidate should be residing in Cyprus. The Senior Dealer will be responsible for managing trading operations, executing trades, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This role requires deep market knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities:

• Execute trades in various financial instruments including equities, bonds, currencies, and derivatives.
• Monitor market trends and make informed trading decisions to maximize profitability.
• Develop and implement trading strategies to achieve business objectives.
• Manage risk by ensuring trades are within established limits and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Provide market insights and analysis to support investment decisions.
• Maintain relationships with brokers, financial institutions, and other market participants.
• Prepare and present regular reports on trading activities and market conditions.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of trades and alignment with company goals.
• Stay updated with industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging market trends.
• Responsible to change the settings on Dealing Third-party Software etc. on the different shifts; major/medium/minor significance news, market openings etc.
• Ensure that the company’s Risk Management Committee and Risk Manager can have reliable and up to date information on open positions and exposures, in order to hedge the risks arising from the above at all times.
• Monitor the Capital Adequacy of the company and inform the relevant persons in case it drops below threshold.
• Responsible for ensuring the Company’s hedged exposure is correct and accurate.
• Answer calls and emails from clients and deal with their requests or complaints.
• Use all reporting tools at your disposal to take actions or make suggestions for improvements where possible.
• Perform any other activity assigned to you by the Company’s Management, Manager of Department or Supervisor of the shift from time to time
• Monitoring the feed to ensure smooth pricing on all trading platforms

Requirements:

• The candidate should be available to work within a 24-hour shift schedule.
• Willing to work remotely and residing in Cyprus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a trading or dealing role within the trade and investment industry.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, instruments, and trading platforms.
• Proven track record of successful trading and strategy implementation.
• Strong decision-making abilities under pressure.
• Proficiency in trading software and financial analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of integrity and adherence to regulatory compliance.
• Very good numerical and analytical skills.
• Sound understanding of relevant regulations, including AML and KYC procedures.
