Job Summary:
As a Senior Business Development Manager at DB Investing, you will lead our expansion efforts within the Forex market, specifically targeting the ASIA region. Your role will be pivotal in identifying new business avenues, nurturing strategic partnerships, and amplifying our market presence. We seek a results-oriented professional with a profound understanding of the Forex industry and a proven track record in ASIA market development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and meticulously research potential business opportunities within the Forex market, focusing on the APAC Region.
  • Formulate and execute a robust business development strategy to foster growth and drive profitability.
  • Initiate and finalize business agreements, encompassing partnerships, white label arrangements, and client acquisitions.
  • Provide regular, comprehensive reports on business development endeavours and progress towards predefined targets.
  • Remain abreast of industry regulations and trends, ensuring adherence and competitive positioning.
  • Serve as a brand advocate, representing the company at industry events and conferences.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify promising clients, scrutinize market dynamics, and stay abreast of industry shifts.
  • Cultivate enduring relationships with current and prospective clients, including forex brokers, institutional investors, and high-net-worth individuals.
  • Tailor trading solutions and services to match client needs, delivering bespoke offerings.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to devise compelling strategies and promotional initiatives aimed at attracting new clientele.
  • Vigilantly monitor competitor activities and market dynamics, discerning potential threats and opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, adeptly negotiate terms, and execute deals to meet and exceed sales targets.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools for business development and relationship management.
  • Previous experience with IBs in ASIA markets.
  • A ready portfolio of IBs/Affiliates to bring into the company is a must.
  • Proven track record of at least 2 years in business development or sales roles within the forex industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of the forex market, including trading platforms, products, regulations, and industry trends.
  • Business fluency in English and Chinese language.
  • Strong network of contacts within the forex industry, including brokers, institutional investors, and potential clients.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, negotiate effectively, and close sales.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify market opportunities and develop effective strategies.
