Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Back Office Team Leader to oversee and manage our Back Office / Customer Support operations. This role is responsible for leading the team, ensuring a consistently high standard of customer service, monitoring operational quality, and identifying areas for improvement.

The Back Office Team Leader will work closely with senior management to align operational performance with business expectations and continuously improve internal processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise and support the team, ensuring high performance, accountability, and consistent service quality.

  • Monitor individual and team performance, providing regular feedback, coaching, and guidance to improve efficiency, accuracy, and customer experience.

  • Act as the main escalation point for complex or sensitive cases and ensure timely and effective resolution.

  • Identify operational gaps, inefficiencies, or risks and take proactive corrective actions.

  • Review existing workflows and processes, proposing and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and service standards.

  • Maintain regular communication with senior management, sharing updates on performance, challenges, and improvement opportunities.

  • Translate management expectations into clear operational actions for the team.

  • Ensure full compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

  • Support onboarding, training, and continuous development of team members, staying up to date with system and process changes.

Job requirements

  • Proven experience in a team leader, supervisor, or senior role within back office or customer support operations.

  • Strong people management and leadership skills.

  • Excellent communication and problem solving abilities.

  • Highly detailed-oriented with a strong focus on quality and continuous improvement.

  • Ability to analyse processes, identify gaps, and implement effective solutions.

  • Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and management.

  • Proficient in CRM systems, reporting tools, and standard office software.

  • Fluent English (written and spoken); additional languages are an asset.
