Art Director - Role overview
We’re looking for an experienced Art Director to lead our creative function and elevate the visual identity of our brand across all digital touchpoints. In this role, you will guide a multidisciplinary creative team—including graphic designers, motion designers, and visual content specialists—to produce high-impact, cohesive visuals that support our marketing and product initiatives. You will own the creative vision, uphold design standards, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to bring campaigns and brand narratives to life.
Key responsibilities
Define and champion the brand’s visual identity, ensuring consistency with global guidelines while adapting designs for regional markets.
Lead, mentor, and manage the creative team, providing direction, feedback, and support to help each member excel.
Oversee end-to-end creation of digital campaign assets, including display ads, social media visuals, video and motion content, landing pages, banners, and email designs.
Partner with marketing, performance, content, and product teams to conceptualize creative strategies and deliver visually aligned campaigns.
Maintain high design standards, reviewing and approving all creative outputs to ensure quality, accuracy, and brand alignment.
Drive innovation, experimenting with motion graphics, video formats, and interactive content to boost engagement and performance.
Stay up-to-date with design trends, emerging technologies (AR/VR, interactive experiences), and regional market aesthetics.
Manage resources, timelines, and priorities across multiple concurrent campaigns, ensuring smooth delivery within budget.
Job requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of experience in art direction, creative leadership, or senior design roles—preferably within digital marketing, agencies, or fintech/finance industries.
A strong portfolio showcasing digital marketing campaigns, branding work, and visual identity projects in both static and motion formats.
Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere, etc.) with a solid understanding of motion, video, and interactive design.
Strategic mindset with the ability to convert marketing objectives into compelling visual narratives and align creative work with performance goals.
Leadership experience, including guiding creative teams, giving constructive feedback, delegating tasks, and ensuring consistent quality across outputs.
Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus, but not required).
High adaptability, thriving in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment with shifting priorities.
Strong collaboration skills, with proven experience working cross-functionally with marketing, product, and operations teams.
