Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Expert Video Editor to join our Egypt-based team. This individual will play a key role in shaping the visual identity and storytelling of our brand across digital platforms. The ideal candidate brings a strong aesthetic eye, platform-specific editing expertise, and a deep understanding of how to craft content that engages diverse audiences. This role requires both technical precision and creative intuition, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with marketing, content, and design teams.

Note: This role will begin as remote, but will transition to on-site at our New Cairo office. Only candidates based in Egypt and willing to commute or relocate to New Cairo will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

Video Editing & Production

• Edit videos for different formats such as social media, websites, ads, and presentations

• Organize and cut raw footage into engaging and professional-looking videos

• Add music, subtitles, graphics, transitions, and effects where needed

• Make sure videos follow the brand’s style and tone

Content Adaptation for Social Media

• Create videos that match the style and viewer expectations of each platform (e.g. Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn)

• Follow the latest trends in video formats, storytelling styles, and editing techniques

• Select and apply trends in a smart way, making sure the content still fits the industry and company message

• Turn longer videos into shorter clips for different platforms while keeping the main message clear

Creative Direction & Visual Consistency

• Work with the marketing and content team to plan and brainstorm new video ideas

• Suggest creative ways to make content more dynamic and attention-grabbing

• Keep all videos visually consistent and aligned with brand guidelines

Project & File Management

• Keep projects organized and manage your time to meet deadlines

• Name and store video files in a clear and easy-to-find way

• Share work for feedback and make edits based on team input

Continuous Improvement & Quality Control

• Watch performance of videos and learn what works best

• Test new formats and styles to keep improving video engagement

• Stay updated on editing tools, software features, and industry best practices

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in video editing with a strong, diverse portfolio

• Expert in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve

• Skilled in motion graphics, color grading, and sound design

• Strong understanding of video formats, compression, and optimization for web/mobile

• Experience creating content for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and LinkedIn

• Ability to adapt editing style to brand and industry needs (especially fintech)

• Comfortable in fast-paced, multi-project environments

• Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset

• Bonus: basic animation skills and familiarity with cross-functional workflows

Work Arrangement

• Initial Phase: Remote work setup with regular team collaboration

• Transition Phase: On-site work from our New Cairo office once operational

• Applicants must be based in Egypt and willing to relocate or commute to New Cairo
