Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Front-End Developer to join our growing Egypt-based team. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and deploying scalable web applications that drive our fintech products and services. The role will commence as remote but will transition to an on-site position at our new office located in New Cairo, so applicants must be prepared and willing to work from the office once it becomes operational.

Key Responsibilities

Web Development & Optimization

• Develop, maintain, and optimize websites and web applications using modern frameworks, with a primary focus on Astro.js and component-based front-end architecture.

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement interactive, mobile-friendly, and high-performing front-end experiences.

• Build scalable and modular back-end services and RESTful APIs using Node.js, PHP/Laravel, or Python/Django.

• Ensure optimal performance, accessibility, and search engine visibility across platforms.

Cloud-Based System Integration

• Manage deployment and hosting environments using Cloudflare, DigitalOcean, AWS, or similar cloud services.

• Set up CDN, caching, SSL, and edge routing through platforms like Cloudflare for performance and security.

• Integrate and manage third-party APIs including CRM systems, payment providers, trading platforms (e.g., MT4/MT5), and analytics tools.

Debugging, Testing & Maintenance

• Conduct regular code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to identify bugs and improve code reliability.

• Write and execute unit tests, integration tests, and performance checks to ensure system stability.

• Monitor and resolve front-end and back-end issues, as well as deployment bottlenecks.

DNS & Web Infrastructure Management

• Configure and manage DNS records, domain routing, and mail server settings (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).

• Monitor and optimize site availability, speed, and uptime with DNS/CDN tools.

• Assist in domain migrations, redirects, and secure HTTPS configurations.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Front-End Developer or in a similar role.

• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks (React.js, Next.js, or Vue.js).

• Solid understanding of responsive web design, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility standards.

• Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating front-end applications with back-end services.

• Proficiency with version control systems (Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket) and agile development methodologies.

• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently as well as within a team-oriented environment.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience with front-end testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, or Cypress) for ensuring code quality.

• Familiarity with UI/UX design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe.

• Knowledge of state management libraries (Redux, Vuex, or Context API) to manage application state effectively.

• Understanding of SEO best practices and performance optimization techniques.

• Exposure to cloud-based services, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development workflows.

Work Arrangement

• Initial Phase: Remote work setup with regular virtual collaboration

• Office Transition: Candidates must be willing and able to work on-site in our New Cairo office once it is fully operational

• Preference will be given to candidates based in or near Cairo or those open to relocation
