Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented HR Administrator to support the smooth and efficient operation of our HR function in the Malta office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate employee documentation, ensuring compliance with Maltese regulations, and supporting key HR processes across the employee lifecycle. This position requires strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of HR practices, and a proactive, hands-on approach.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day HR administrative tasks, including maintaining employee records, documentation, and filing systems.
Support the full onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a seamless experience for employees.
Prepare, issue, and maintain employment contracts, amendments, and other HR documents in line with Maltese labor laws.
Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and timely updates of personnel data in HR systems.
Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure HR procedures meet all regulatory requirements.
Provide general administrative support to the HR department and management.
Assist the finance team by reviewing month-end payroll calculations.
Collaborate with other departments on office upkeep and inventory management.
Job requirements
Requirements
Proven experience in HR administration or a similar role.
Strong understanding of HR administrative processes and best practices.
Solid knowledge of Maltese labor law, or ability to quickly gain legal HR expertise.
Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office; experience with HR systems or ATS tools is an asset.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
