Role Overview

We are looking for a Junior IT Support Specialist to support the daily operation of our IT environment and provide first- and second-level technical assistance to internal users. This role is ideal for someone at the beginning of their IT career who has a solid technical foundation, enjoys troubleshooting, and is eager to learn and grow within an IT support or system administration path.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day technical support to internal users by diagnosing and resolving basic hardware, software, and network issues

  • Assist in monitoring and maintaining IT systems, servers, and network infrastructure under the guidance of senior team members

  • Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT hardware, software, and peripherals

  • Help manage user accounts, access rights, and security settings (e.g., Active Directory, Office 365)

  • Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff or external vendors when needed

  • Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, solutions, and IT procedures

  • Follow IT policies, security guidelines, and data protection standards

  • Participate in IT projects, system upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives

Job requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

  • 1+ year of hands-on experience in IT support, service desk, or a similar technical role

  • Basic knowledge of Windows environments and fundamental networking concepts (LAN/WAN)

  • Familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365, VPNs, or ticketing systems is an advantage

  • Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills

  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

  • Clear communication skills and a user-oriented mindset

  • Ability to manage tasks, follow priorities, and work well in a team environment
