Our team is expanding in Egypt, and we’re seeking a skilled Video Editor to craft high-quality, engaging video content for campaigns, social media, product explainers, and corporate projects.

Role Overview

The Video Editor will be responsible for editing, enhancing, and producing video content that aligns with our brand voice and business objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, a keen creative eye, and the ability to work efficiently under deadlines. This is a full-time, on-site role in Egypt that requires close collaboration with the marketing and design teams.

Key Responsibilities

Video Editing & Production

• Edit and assemble raw video footage into polished, high-quality final products.

• Apply color correction, sound balancing, and transitions to ensure a professional finish.

• Incorporate graphics, lower thirds, motion effects, and subtitles where required.

• Optimize video content for various formats and platforms (social media, website, presentations, campaigns).

Creative Collaboration & Storytelling

• Work closely with the marketing team to understand project objectives and brand tone.

• Collaborate with designers to integrate visual assets, animations, and branding into videos.

• Contribute to concept development and creative direction for video campaigns.

Workflow & Efficiency

• Maintain a well-organized video library and project archive for future reference.

• Work within deadlines to deliver multiple projects simultaneously.

• Adapt editing styles to fit the target audience and campaign goals.

Quality Control & Continuous Improvement

• Ensure all videos meet technical quality and brand consistency before release.

• Stay up-to-date with new editing techniques, effects, and industry trends to keep content fresh.

• Suggest improvements and new formats to enhance audience engagement.

Qualifications

Required:

• 2–4 years of professional experience as a Video Editor (agency, in-house, or freelance).

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop (DaVinci Resolve is a plus).

• Strong knowledge of video formats, aspect ratios, and platform specifications.

• Portfolio or showreel demonstrating a range of editing styles and creative projects.

Preferred:

• Experience creating videos for corporate, financial, or educational content.

• Basic skills in motion graphics or animation.

• Understanding of sound design and audio editing.
